ICYMI: Good Day L.A.

Over the years, Giddy Up Ranch has become synonymous with birthdays and anniversaries. Whether it’s the city of Pico Rivera celebrating its 60th or children celebrating their first, we are often called upon to provide the party’s centerpiece.

Recently, Fox 11, along with its many viewers across Southern California, celebrated a very special anniversary.  And once again, Giddy Up Ranch answered the call.

The cast and crew of the Fox Television’s “Good Day L.A” morning show paid tribute to long time colleague, Tony McEwing, as he celebrated his 25th year as a broadcast member.  The celebration included the unveiling of a street now named in his honor, and a ride along that paved road on an unusual transport.

A big man requires large transportation.  And on this day, it was a camel that would parade him from one end to the other.  Though he first appeared hesitant, the King was finally aboard and presented to his loyal subjects.

Good Day L.A” is the most watched morning show in the city of Los Angeles, establishing a new ratings record in 2017.  Tony McEwing joined the FOX team in 1993.  Giddy Up Ranch is no stranger to the FOX set, appearing each December on the morning show, in its Heifer International promotional segment.
