Weddings are one of the world’s most extravagant events. Each will vary in size and theme, based on culture, religious beliefs and expenses. But there is one common link to these celebrations, being that the bride and groom are the focal point of this grand affair.
It is the bride that traditionally remains unseen before the ceremony. And depending on the culture and order of the wedding party, it is the groom that will then make his way to the alter, and sometimes do it aboard a camel.
And just as the bride and groom, camels can also come in pairs, which enables husband and wife to parade side by side.
Prior to the mid nineteenth century, brides wore gowns of any color. Things soon changed thereafter, with white, the symbol of purity and innocence, becoming the premiere choice for modern brides.
Today, you wear a color other than white and you are “non-traditional”.
White is the long flowing gown and veil, and even the pale bouquet she carries in her hand.
White is the wedding cake and fixtures, as well as the animals for viewing in the wedding farm.
Live animals displays have become more common, as it allows newlyweds to add something a little different, while still remaining traditional. White sheep and goats transition from barnyard dwellers to wedding props, with a color that fits the scheme. Throw in white chickens, ducks and rabbits, and even a pale miniature cow, and the setting is nearly complete.
With soon-to-be husbands appearing in a black tuxedos at most traditional weddings, the Zebra instantly symbolizes the union of bride and groom. Beautifully groomed and displayed, these stripes instantly adorn wedding photographs and become a conversation piece for guests.
Planning a wedding is tedious, with most preparation beginning at least a year in advance. So when planning yours, consider detailing it with animals, and allow these four-legged fixtures to crash your party.
There is a constant debate over who is the rap world’s greatest of all time. Depending on who you may speak to, the names Tupac Shakur, Biggie Smalls or Eminem may top the list. But as we very well know, opinion will own crown champions in figure skating and gymnastics, so this music debate remains open.
“GOAT” is an acronym for “Greatest Of All Time”. And though Albania rapper, Gashi, would never claim to be the best to perform in his genre, his music video “1134” makes him the goat, literally.
In 2018, we happily assisted in a music video production that featured several of our baby goats. The video’s climax shows the Brooklyn based rapper, dressed in black, dying and then transforming into a blue-eyed black goat that we have since named “Gashi’ in his honor.
Giddy Up Ranch is no stranger to Video productions, having become one of the more popular animal rentals for music producers. Our tortoises were featured in Canadian rapper Benny Mayne’s “Strangers” video, and we were also called upon for an Alpaca to star in Keiynan Lonsdale’s “Good Life”.
Though our animals appear at a glance to serve only as entertainment and display at public and private functions, they have a wide variety of uses, which include television, movies and music videos. So if you’re ever in search of a four-legged star to enhance your production, just know that we are only a phone call away.
Although our website displays several packages, you should know that each can be tailored to your needs. For religious purposes, some customers choose not to have the pig. Just put in the request, and we’ll leave the little squealers at home.
Just as every occasion is different, so are the themes. You don’t have to accept every animal listed for our petting zoo, just as you can make additions to those already listed. Giddy Up Ranch works for you, to ensure that everything is a perfect fit. Not sure what you will need? Talk to us. Once we know the theme, we will work with you to bring everything to life.
In a recent visit to The Cause Church in Brea, we did our part in providing the animals necessary for a two-day “Noah’s Ark” themed service. Of course, this called for additions to our deluxe petting zoo, and we happily obliged.
Whether you’re disgusted by swine, allergic to equines or just prefer smaller animals, just drop us a note. If possible, we will make substitutions. And if necessary, we will make additions.
